I design websites and experiences, focusing on the people that will be using them. I've worked at a small digital marketing agency creating websites running on CMSs (like WordPress & Drupal), designing and building email marketing templates, and doing website maintenance. As a freelancer for small businesses, I create branding, design websites, and even do a bit of print design here and there! I love working on a team, trading feedback, and figuring out the best ways to tackle problems together.
In my current position (at Disney!), I create web tools for our team and the ticket booths to help them inform customers before buying tickets, and help update/maintain our informational WordPress websites.
In 2015, I started designing knitting patterns for knitters to follow (check them out on Instagram). In this role, I have to focus on what will make the experience best for my knitting customers. It involves not only knowing how to knit, but also how to communicate instructions, lay out information, and design readable PDFs.

Why "Mandy Bee"?
As a kid, I was referred to as "Amanda B." in classes with more than one Amanda. My dad, who called me Mandy, thought it was funny and started calling me "Mandy B." at home. (Dad jokes, am I right?) The name stuck!
